From Ivalo, which is more or less around the corner of Rovaniemi, the home of Santa Claus (Finland), we send you a

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

For those, who are planning to come to Lapland, make sure you are not going to miss the

World Gold Panning Championships

in Tankavaara in 2019!

To all our friends and collaborators: We hope to meet you in 2018 again and thanks so much for your support! All the best for you and your beloved ones!

He is at the Gordon Research Conference (Girona, Spain) on Flow and Transport in Permeable Media, a topic that will be very important, if we want understand and model the cycling/transport of gold in Earth surface environments.

As this was my first invitation to present at Gordon Conference, I particularly want to thank the Chair Prof. Dr. Rainer Helmig and his group as well as the co-chair Prof. Ruben Juanes, as well as Gordon Conference organisation team for choosing such an excellent list of speakers, a beautiful location and making it an all round great experience.
